Doctor Pfalz was born in Hamburg, West Germany. He grew up in a family of six. After high school he served in the military as a paramedic.

     Dr. Pfalz completed medical school at the University of Ulm, Germany. His research theses was awarded the title Doctor Medicinae, also Summa Cum Laude. He completed an eighteen-month orthopedic internship at the University of Ulm before he immigrated to the United States.

     From 1996 to 2001, he completed the nationally accredited General Surgery residency at the

Wright State University in Dayton, OH. He was awarded the title "Chief Resident" in his final year. From 2001 to 2002 Dr. Pfalz underwent a nationally accredited Hand Fellowship with the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Pfalz is now double Board Certified in General Surgery and Hand Surgery.

     Doctor Pfalz is married to his wife Sita with five children and lives in Prince Frederick. He has served the Calvert community since 2002.") ?>
